Wow these are so interesting.  I do not if I can do the cards themselves but would love to make that special box or velevt bag would be wonderful to keep them in.  That is if no one minds.

i dont mind! i think a box/ bag/ packaging is what initially draws me to a deck in the first place. and on the spiritual side, the container is just as important as the instrument. Grin

I'm really glad I found this thread!
Recently I've been wanting to learn to read tarot cards. I've been studying for a few months, but I still don't have a really good grasp on all the cards. Making the cards would be a great way to study them more.
Anyway, I haven't read this whole thread yet, but I plan to and soon start crafting my own deck.  Grin

if you put your own symbolism into a deck, i think, you can read the cards better, because when you look at it it will trigger the meaning behind your image methinks! (well thats what i am hoping anyway)

also
my friend has a deck and she stuck teeny stickers on the cards with a few key words to trigger her memory as to what the card signifies. Grin

I am glad to see that I am not the only one with some trouble reading the cards...I like all the ideas.  I have 3 differents deals on that I bought for classes and 2 were gifts.

Thank you for the I deals.

well it doesn't seem like this board has been posted in for a while, but if no one minds i am going to join in doing my deck, i am doing a fairly simple, black and white symbolistic deck, and have recently finished the design, and have just started on the actual cards...

seems like a good idea to me... it makes me sad when threads with such promise die out. Keep the flame alive Kitsune-Tearz!

Hello there! Cheesy I saw this thread and was inspired to make my own tarot deck. Cheesy I'm giving myself the challenge of getting it done this summer. :/
