That tie is magic-rockin'-awesome.  And at the risk of sounding very odd, that's a pretty darn cool hanger, too.

haha!  thanks!  my father-in-law is a crazy artist (photographer, specifically) and he bought a bunch of these awesome hangers.  We do our laundry at his house, so I, uh, borrowed one of his hangers for one of my hubby's shirts...heehee!  I love it too. Smiley

Dirtythghts, it's easy to make a tie!  I suggest getting an old crappy tie and tearing it apart to see how it was made.

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

oh, i was looking for a crappy tie, so i thought i could find one for dirt cheap at the salvation army. wrong. i mean they were cheap, but not crappy, so i didn't want to tear up a perfectly good tie.

i happen to know that my local consignment shop and a bunch of REALLY awful ties for a dollar. so i'm planning on stopping in either tonight or tomorrow. oh i have so much to do! lol.

gee - your tie is beautiful.  I've made 2 ties from patterns and it's been a major struggle, but I'm a beginning seamstress.  I like making holiday ties for my hubby.  I bought 2 different patterns looking for one that's a bit easier.  One is a Halloween tie and the other one is St Patrick's day.    I probably should practice wiht other holidays.  (maybe after I finish my dress).  thanks.  Cynthia
