This painted during a hard month for me the face was elongated to emphasise the mood, though unfourtunatly the first person i showed it to didn't pick up on that Sad.  Maybe that isn't clear enough.

What do you guys think? Its about time i actually posted something.

I guess what I pick up on this is the total relaxation of the facial muscles. Sort-a like you're watching or experiencing something unfold and wonder how it will get worse. And it does. And you know it will. Ever hear of the expression. "Honey, why the long face?"

Blank stare might be a good word. Maybe an 'I give up' look? I don't know, I'm not the most perceptive pea in the pod.  Roll Eyes

Anyway, I like your colors and the way you did her hair.

I like it a lot. She looks really tired and drained of all her energy. It's a really good expressionism piece!

The mood in this piece definitely fits the adjective "rough"...amazing work.  Colourful, yet melancholic.
