Hoping someone can help me out:

I bought a TON of cute, cheap fabric from Fabricland when one of their locations was closing. The problem is, I'm a novice sewer and I'm not sure what to make with the kinds of fabric that I bought  Undecided

I have a bunch of different prints in this fabric...semi-sheer, thin...stuff? hahaha.

And also this houndstooth:

So, any suggestions/links for simple projects? I'm thinking skirts and dresses <3
Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have to think about the first fabric, but the second print you can make a wrap dress (Simplicity has a very nice version, but if you look, most companies have one at the moment), trendy tops, or it would make a great jacket lining.  If it's semi sheer, you may have to line the dress or top.

The last one would make a fantastic skirt and jacket set - very Chanel!

Definately use the houndstooth for a skirt and jacket or vest!  If you have enough left over make a matching handbag

The first one would make a cute sarong or other summery things, just hem the edges.

The second either a 70's style shirt like a funky halterneck or a bag.
