I showed this to my techie husband and he agrees that it looks like you have some sort of spyware.  He also said that it looks kinda like the trojan horse that this article is about.

Yowza! That is SO strange! And I must say -- kind of interesting to see what Craftster would look like with porn ads! Wink I'll have to consider that as a new revenue stream... ha ha...

At first I was freaked out thinking someone had hacked into Craftster and mucked with the code somehow but then a few people mentioned adware/spyware/viruses that could maybe do this and so I did a little research:

Google AdSense hijacked by porn Trojan

Porn Trojan Scrambles Google AdSense

So I guess the moral of the story is... If you run Windows, you really need to constantly run Ad Aware or something like it.

This has got me thinking... maybe we should run actual CRAFT PORN ads from time to time?? Big balls of gorgeous hand spun yarn... Mounds and mounds of big glossy  beads... All in slooooow motion...

Apart from the phrase: YIKES!

all I'd like to say is that those nubile Canadian lasses look a hell of a lot more 'wholesome' than the skanky 'naked horny women in Box Hill' that appear on those style of ads on my computer when I visit sites of ill repute. (TORRENT sites, people... I only view clah-say pr0n)

Heh heh. Naked woman. Box Hill. The more I think about it, the funnier it gets.

i had this happen before too
only it was at a parenting webpage. at first i thought is was ad matching to what i was looking for "breat feeding" but instead i got lots of breasts in the side bar. anyway after a quick adware check and i still saw it i emailed the company about it. after that no more porn in the side bar.  It was way crazy.

My special guy has been trying new anti-virus programs, so I'll get him to run a scan tonight.  I'm just kinda glad that not everybody has these ads.

Craft porn would be way cool.  I don't know if I was shocked more because the ads were on Craftster or because they weren't knitting or sewing.

I'm a new mom to my beautiful baby girl Rhaevyn, born June 12th, she keeps me super busy.

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that the sponsored google ads you have (that appear just under the blue menu/links) showed an inappropriate one today. "Longer penis, short penis, small penis, tiny penis". I don't know if you have any control over which ads get shown, but I'm thinking you might not want to have that one up.  Lips sealed

I'm going to merge this with a similar thread.

I believe it's more than likely that you may have some adware/spyware/virus on your browser or computer that is causing you to get ads such as this.

Do more of what makes you happy.
