I would like to try dry needle felting and Im not sure what way to go about it, I know I will need the needles for it a 36 and 38 and the wool is sold in packs at the craft place here.
If i wanted to make a cat is there patterns you need to follow or do you make it yourself sort of thing? Huh
Im only used to sewing and a few other craft things.

Welcome to the world of felting  Smiley
Some of the crafters have written tutorials, and there are links to them here

I would suggest starting with GraceO's introduction to needle-felting

Welcome to needle felting!  Once you start it becomes very addicting.  As for patterns, I have never used one.  I just start poking at the wool until it starts to take shape.
