I've discovered are really easy way to make a stencil and it only takes a few Cheesyseconds! So I'm not sure if your able to do it on all computers but here we go. Right now I'm using an ibook by the way. So first of all you open microsoft word. Then you find a picture that you would like as a stencil then you put it into word. (this is the part I'm not sure all computer have) If you click on the picture a little box comes up that says "Format, Effects" and it will also have lots of symbols under it. So you click "Effects" so once you have done that a box will come up that has a ton of pictures of coffee cups in different styles. Scroll down until you find the black and white one that says "Stamp" under it. Click this one, then click apply. It will make a super great black and white of the picture you choose! I'm not sure if any one Haas posted this before but i dont think so. Go give it a try! Grin

Thanks so much for sharing this! When they installed a new hard drive on my laptop they
messed up my (free from my last job) versions of Publisher and Photoshop and I can no longer reinstall them. So I haven't been able to make any stencils myself.

UNTIL you uncovered this hidden (to me) trick in Word. Thanks again!

This is great advice! I figured out how to do it on PCs.  If you click on Format Picture & change Color from automatic to black & white, it comes out.  Of course, you have to havea  pic with a white backround for it to work.

and when i see you i really see you upside down
but my brain knows better and turns you round

you can get the same effect on MS Paint, by pasting the picture into the program, then going to Image>Attributes then clicking Black and White.

I use the same tool, you can do it in microsoft photodraw v2 (I think that's it)
It sounds exactly the same with the coffee cups and all.
