So, this year my school's having a dance called blackout, where everyone has to wear white 'cos we're having black (ultraviolet) lights.  I'm making myself a white tutu for it...but we're not allowed to have costumes.

the next day after the dance is HALLOWEEN!! and i still don't know what i'm going to be!  i was thinking tooth fairy, but i tried making wings before and they turned out horrible.  I want something that might include the tutu.  I also have long black and white socks from last year.

any advice would be awesome.  thanks!

i'm guessing she already knows how to make a tutu and is asking what she should be? but iuno.

anyway, tooth fairy sounds so AWESOME! you could get really cheap wings (like little kid sized ones, that could work) at dollar stores or even places like walmart and target and craft stores will have wings n stuff on sale around now, since it's so close to halloween.
too bad you couldn't find fake teeth to carry around in a bucket.

other ideas: ballerina? zombie ballerina! haha, i don't know.

Tooth fairy sounds cool (and you could make the teeth out of poly clay if you wanted) I also suggested a pumpkin fairy to someone else on here that had an orange dress she wanted to use. or haloween fairy. you could use the striped socks you mentioned, a tiara (make it or buy a cheapo plastic one) a wand (again make it) If you do the pumpkin/halloween idea you can get one of those plastic orange pumpkin buckets to carry. Paint you face, and wear like a orange sequiny top. Thats all I can think of.

I was a evil tooth fairy last year.

I wore a tutu of red and black and a tube dress that i made using black fabric that I ironed on the words "gimmie teeth".  I made a whole bunch of teeth from thick felt and used nail polish to add blood to each. The teeth went onto bobbie pins for my hair, on the tutu, necklaces, and earrings. I brought a small drill around as well and hooked it into a belt around my waist.
