It is about 12"x12"x12". It has 4 nearly identical sides- brass with steel ?'s. There are no coins or mushrooms in it yet, but someday...

That is just awesome. Since it's metal there are so many possiblities. Storage, light fixture, and co much more.
I made a "?" block as a gift box to a friend one year out of cardboard. Your metal one is so much cooler though.

Just got flaked on for personal swaps so I am taking a break. ^_^; sorry everyone.

Oh man. Very cool.

coolies, I saw a tute for similar of this out on the internet pages somewhere, I never thought someone would make it or see someone else make it. Cheesy I think it is really cool. Does one side open or can you store stuff in it?

You came in from the darkness and held the door open wide
You stood there like a vision before my unbelieving eyes
I believe in what I see and also what I hear
But did the night play tricks on me or were you really there.

Thank you so much for the praise. It actually was quite a hassle, but well worth it.
It doesn't have a top or bottom, so I've kind of thought about making a giant plush mushroom to be punched out from underneath.
I moved recently and have not gotten around to reassembling it. Instead, the sides are up on my wall in a row. Now I'm shopping around for some faux brick sheets to mix in with them.

I have not seen any tutorials on this subject, but haven't looked either. It seemed like a straight forward project, and after a little trial and error (it was originally going to be mounted on a frame of cut 2x4s) was just a matter of time invested. And repeated trips to the metal store.
