Here are a few of the scarves I have made since I learned to knit this year.
Branching Out from Knitty:

It's a little short, I just was using up some spare balls of an unknown kind of Alpaca.  It's also a little itchy.  But I just wanted to try my hand at lace.

Airy Scarf:

This is a pattern in Last Minute Knitted Gifts.  It is Habu Textiles, silk/mohair blend.

Noro Silk Garden:

This is the magic scarf pattern from Crazy Aunt Purl.  It is alternating squares of stockinette and reverse stockinette.

Blue Sky Alpaca Bulky:

Seed stitch on size 35 needles.  Very fun to knit, only took about 15 minutes, and it is so fun to wear.  Nice and bumpy.

I bought 1 skein of Blue Sky Alpaca Bulky.  On the ball band it said cast on 5 stitches onto US35 needles for a skinny scarf.  I decided to do seed stitch instead of garter.
