Here are a few of my FO's from this year.  I just learned to knit in January and have been obssessed ever since.

My first project on circulars:

The umbillical cord hat from Stitch n Bitch in the recommended Patons Canadiana.  I am waiting for someone I know to have a baby so I can give it away.

My first cable project:

Free pattern from this website. http://stitchcafe.com/freepatterns.html
Made in Knitpicks Sierra.

Baby booties:

I got the pattern here on Craftster, but I don't have the link.  They still need buttons, but again I have no baby to give them to, so I'm in no rush!

Thanks for looking.

I love that cable hat and have been looking for a similar pattern-- thanks! The baby items are cute, too!

how hard / easy did you find the hats to make on the circulars?  I have the pattern for that cable hat printed out and waiting for some 10 1/2 circs.. I'm also in need of some sz 7 and 8 circs for the basic cable beanie from the SNB Nation book. Hopefully I'll get those soon so I can start working on those!!! Yours came out really nice. The booties are great too! very cute... great job!

I love the booties! Do you remember what the pattern name is? I'd love to make those for someone's baby.

Phisch: Here is the link to the post I found the ruby slippers in.  They are so easy, only took me an hour to make the pair.  And I got the yarn for 40% off at Michaels, so I will be able to make a few pairs for cheap.

tanyakitty: I found the hats really easy to make on circulars.  I love knitting in the round.  I used my Denise Interchangeables for all of these.  I am waiting for some DPN's I odered to arrive in the mail so I can finish Cascade (the ear flap hat) from Knitty.  So I know how it feels to be waiting.

Also, thanks for the compliments, I don't post very often so it is nice to get some feedback from other knitters, as I am alone in my obssession in real life.
