Wow that jar is kick ass!! It looks so professional, and who can't use a good ole Tool shirt?  Okay, well I got my piece of Tool awesomeness from Sarah, so I promise I'll post pics before the day is over!  I'm super excited.  The only problem is I'm up visiting my parents and I have no idea how to work my mom's dig cam and how to get the pics onto their dinosaur of a computer. lol.  So garrr I have to wait until 6 when she gets home from work.  We all for sure have to do a Tool swap number 2!!

aww yea i did some stalking---> notebook.
yay! it was my first try glass-etching, it's actually super easy! it's kind of like marble magnets, where you feel super-accomplished for less effort than it looks  Grin

i'd be down for a NIN swap! or a round two.

why not just a "favorite alternative band" swap?
like, everybody could send in a list of their top five, then everybody would get matched up with somebody else that liked that band, too! cause I wouldn't be that into a NIN swap, but would love Tool or APC or Chevelle. what do you think?

sounds good. but i dont know if i would like to craft for a band that i know nothing about... know what i mean? but i guess we could put people together that are into the same kinda bands... hmmmmmmmmm

ok, i am going to make a swap ideas thread on it... if we want a specific band or if people want a "alternative" band swap....

heres the link to the thread... i didnt know what to call it...

Okay kids!  Sorry I didn't get this up here sooner.  Tongue  My awesome craft came to me from evilsarah, so a HUGE THANK YOU to her:)  As for the CDs (yes, as in two of them!), I got the latest Isis, which I'm quite diggin'.  The second one is a Tool string(as in orchestra) tribute and "other bits and bobbs" to put it in her words.  I haven't gotten to that one yet but I'm sure it is great!  I've heard a few of the string songs before, but never the whole thing, so I'm looking forward to it.  Now, for the coolest part.  I got so giddy when I pulled out of the package my very own Maynard doll!!!  So cleverly hand stitched and complete with mohawk and tatoos.  I think it is very creative and it rocks my socks.  So, here is:
Front of Maynard

Back of Maynard

Side of Maynard

Close up of Maynard's face

Sorry the pictures look kind of dark.  I took the pictures at night and my dumb ass forgot to turn the flash on I think.  So I'll try some more with the flash on and if they come out better I will post 'em.  Thanks again to evilsarah for the awesome Tool package and a big big BIG thank you to Spirals for organizing.

I definitely think another swap would be cool.  Whether band specific or not I guess...

peace:)
