I got them at a store called Hot Topic at the mall - if you don't have one around you, let me know, and we'll work something out.

I would so make Sock Monkeys out of those socks.
Now, I must hit Hot Topic to look for socks. Never thought of that.

I received the most wonderful package from naelany yesterday!! She sent me not one panta but FOUR.  I told her I was interested in learning to knit socks and she sent me yarn, needles and a bunch of great knitting accessories to help me get going!!  I really scored this time folks!!  I will have to get some pics of my package and post them today but I wanted to thank naelany for her generosity!!

Also, thanks irid3sc3nt.  You did a wonderful job as organizer!!

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Wow! So many great things in this thread!

Here are a couple of pictures of what I sent to igobylorib.

The button bouquet from her wist. Sorry this is such a crappy photo; I should have taken it outdoors, but it was really cold outside that day. They are a lot brighter than they appear here. Most of the buttons are vintage. She told me she put them in a creamer. I can't wait to see a picture of it, when she has a chance.  Smiley

Skully pins. These were a blast to make! My favorite is the one with a flower button eye.  Cheesy
