Strangely enough the livermush we buy isn't really greasy at all, I don't fry it in oil or butter either, it would probably be dry if I didn't eat it with mayo. I accidental got scrapple once, it was kinda oily, I'll never make that mistake again, I compared ingredients, and yeah livermushes didn't really sound appetising, but scrapples sounded alot worse.

How exactly does one fry Romaine lettuce? That sounds very interesting.
Also, I have a container of Marmite from a friend overseas and I cannot eat that stuff. lol. I think it must be an acquired taste  Cheesy

I like peanut butter on seedy rye toast... uhm.. jam on tofurkey sandwiches.. I don't know if it's that werid though.  I eat raw ramen a lot... kiwi and brie.. .
Hey so how are those Guiness floats?  I've always wanted to try one... Just the concept makes me want to try an Optimator float...

My favorite weird food is mashed up bananas mixed with peanut butter.  I think it tastes really good, but it does look disgusting, and it's fun to gross people out with it.

I also used to get grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at the last school I went to.  People thought it was weird for some odd reason, but I really miss them.

My dad was always the king of "weird" combinations and he made some things that I actually liked pretty well.

We like to put barbeque sauce on green beans.

We also have a favorite that makes my mom gag that we like to call "Chinese macaroni."  We add soy sauce and garlic powder to home-made macaroni and cheese.  It sounds disgusting, but it's really great!  This concoction probably branched from our "Chinese spaghetti" which we made when we ran out of spaghetti sauce but still had leftover noodles.  You just zap them in the microwave with soy sauce and a little garlic powder and those noodles have zing!

Of course, we always used to try to put ranch dressing on strange stuff too, but I think alot of folks think that ranch will help out almost anything.

I also love to dip my pizza crusts in Italian dressing.  That's about all the weird things I can think of!

My boyfriend has been raving about about Cheezels and Brandy Custard since I've known him Undecided. I tried it this Christmas  Lips sealed.

To be fair it was low-fat custard (which tastes bad anyway) and I'd never had brandy custard before. It was gross but maybe I'll try it again with normal custard. Mmmm, on second thoughts... no.

I grew up putting jam on grilled cheese sandwiches - you spread it on top after you grill them. My boyfriend thinks it's really really weird. Does anyone else eat grilled cheese this way, or is my family more strange than I thought? Smiley

I love a toasted bagel topped with hummus and capers, which grosses out my DH, but then again, HE eats tofu straight out of the box too.  With mccormick fajita seasoning and nutritional yeast.  Ew!

I like peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches with hot sauce.  I also like popcorn with nutritional yeast, which I don't really think of as weird, but it seems to freak other people out, so there ya go! Smiley
