1cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teas. cream of tarter
1 teas. soda
1/4 teas. Salt

2 Tab. sugar
2 teas. cinnamon
Heat oven to 400.  
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs.  
Add flour, cream of tarter, soda, salt stirring in.  
Shape dough in 1" balls.  Roll in cinnamon sugar.  Place 2" apart on baking sheet.  
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.  

Makes 6 dozen.

For shame, an eiffel tower av and it's not even metric.

I shall continue my search to find an easy metric recipe for snickerdoodles to show my friends the wonders of "les cookies."

EDIT: Eeek!  Sorry to bump such an old post!  But if anybody has a really easy metric snickerdoodle recipe please LMK!

near the bottomof the page you can click on 'convert to metric' - you can do this for all the recipes on this site. 
I've never tried this recipe, but it's rated 5 stars (out of 5)

Snickerdoodles! I used to make these all the time, awesome! Haha, my friend was talking online and she told her she had to go make some snickerdoodles, and the person's response was, "Is that an expression for going poo?" It was mad funny. Anyways, make these cookies, they'll make ur day!
