How awesome. I wonder if it matters what brand of paper?
I doubt it, but it can't hurt to aim for a more expensive/reputable brand if you are concerned.

I have been thinking about it, and believe the wax coating is there to provide some protection from moisture.  I think that is why they use so much glue too, to achieve some kind of seal.  Just a little moisture on your pages sends copy machines crazy.  So I doubt there are any brands that don't have the wax, because no office would buy it.

It is a moisture-resistant coating. Go for brands that officeworks and other office stationery stores stock as they should have a good quality coating on them at the risk of losing their corporate clients.
