My partner and I have both received...her package was wonderful - I got it today and will have to take some pics!

For now, here are pics of what I sent - Mine was India inspired...I sent a t-shirt w/ her name spelled in Hindi, a clutch, notecards, and (storebought) mirror keychain and pill box.  The pillbox is pictured 2nd and is about the same size as the keychain.

Likewise I loved the things sent by Mimik, thank you!!
Okay, here are the things I sent to her! The first is an elephant clutch- I was dying to make an elephant! (inside it is a big (plastic) diamond ring, the meaning being obvious. Smiley)

<p>
The second is meant to embody the romance and  back and forth of Bollywood, I made a Love Letter Box! Featuring images from "Bride and Prejudice". (p.s. that's my kid. I made her too. Wink )

Thanks to Mimik for inspiring me to learn new skills and to Kikigirl for coordinating!!!

(hope my pictures aren't all screwy...)
Well, I just got my package from our lovely swap coordinator...and here we go!

Brass earrings with crystal drops...so pretty!  Even better, they're fishhooks, which I love, because 1)most studs fit tight on my lobes, and 2) hooks are just so dangly, which is important when you're dancing.  Grin
And...I got a doll!

She's made of felt and has an embroidered face and floss hair.  I think Kiki got the hidden message when I said I love orange and red  Wink.  She has a beaded sash around her waist and around the bottom of her choli, beaded earrings, beads down the part of her hair, and bead trim around the hem of her skirt.  Her dress is orange (which looks almost like the fabric I used for part of her package), and did I mention I love orange?  Cheesy
Thanks Kiki!  I love her and the earrings...hope you like what you get too.

Yeahhh!!!  I'm so glad you liked them!!!

I just want to thank you Luckie Strike for putting a much needed smile on my face.  I LOVE the Dal family...they are Bollywood in its purest form, just pure joy.  The dolls are amazing too.  I like that they don't have faces.  Then they mirror my emotions too  Smiley  Thank you...truly.

This is the Dal family and aren't they just pure joy?  I love how they make me smile.  They came in a lovely orange bag.

These are the dolls...so happy to be in Bollywood and just so shiney happy.  I love them.  Smiley  They also came in a bag that matched the one outfit.

This is the group photo of dolls bags and family.  The family looks like the audience of the dolls to me.   Anyone else?

Yay!  I'm so glad you're happy Kiki...the Dal family were the survivors of the postal massacre, and I was looking for pictures of the other original piece, because it took so dang long to make, but I only have an "in progress" shot  Undecided   And the reason I didn't give the dolls faces (for everyone else's info) were because I was working feverishly to finish them to send to replace what was lost in the mail, and I didn't want to take a chance of screwing them up and not having anything else to send.  I'm just really relieved this package made it all the way with no complications!
