it's raining in the bay, hurrah!
but i can't go outside in fear of the crazy drivers.
so what do i do? sew, sew, sew!!!

i made my boy's mum a silk scarf out of kimono silk bits random silk-y material i found in my scrap box.

That's really nice.  I like how the stripes are asymmetrical - it matches the fact that the fabrics are different, too.

ah! it was raining in the bay! (sf and sj, ca bay at least)  and it made me in a crafty mood as well.  cept, i'm in a knitting phase now.  i wish my sewing binge didn't end! that scarf it so pretty!! (note to self: must grab some old kimonos while in japan on trip) what a lucky lady you're boyfriend's mother is.  haha and i'm probably one of those crazy drivers.
