1.  DH has an old quilt in great condition... cant display it full size.. any ideas on how to keep it neat, clean and yet displaying ?  I am thinking a shadow box but would like ideas.  Thanks you.

2.  I have a  quilt front (unfinished) the last projec that my grandmother was making before her death in 1946.  Not sure how to display it.... same idea shadow box.. or should I finish it... my mother was going to but she never did.... Acquired this when mom went to be with the Lord in February.

wouldn't you need a really big box?!  a common way of displaying a quilt is to sew on a tube/channel of fabric along the top edge at the back to slip a rod through, sort of like a curtain.  that pulls more evenly along the whole quilt than using clips or ties.  you could also just drape it halfway over a rod.
you should finish the quilt top!  that would be really nice to do, however many years later!

My mother has a vintage ladder (the straight kind that has to be leaned up against something) in her house with an antique quilt drapes over every other run- it looks really good.

I have the same kind of ladder hanging from the ceiling in my kitchen (*weird trivia about me*)
