so I finally have all the ingredients for my second batch of soap. The first one I made was castile soap and I think it was lye heavy as it leaves my hands kinda pinkish ( I ordered some strips to test it that should arrive in 2 days)

I want to give the finished soap I will make for christmas and there is not enough time for errors.

This is what I have planned:

Olive oil 40%
Babassu oil 25%
Shea butter 20%
Crisco 10%
Castor oil 3%
Emu oil 2%

I plan to use aloe vera juice for half the water. I also want to use only 25% of water down from 38% for faster cure time.
Super fat discount 5%

for scent I have 1/2oz of lemongrass and 1/2oz of lavender EO
now I want it more lemoney than lavenderey (lol) so I am thinking about using only like 1/3oz of lavender since citrus tends to disappear? or maybe even 1/4oz

I also have some violet pigment and I want to make a marble pattern. I will be using plumbing pipes as a mold to make round soap.

Plan on mixing everything at 110F

also these are the numbers that soapcalc gives when I run the recipe through it
hardness    40
cleansing 17
conditioning 58
bubbly 20
creamy 25
iodine 64
INS 136

can you tell I am freaking out a little?

I really am out of funds so this soap better turn out great or my fam will be without christmas gifts Cheesy

My Motto: If you can't find it, buy another one.

It looks good to me. I think that is a lot of Babassu since it is expensive but it works.
