OK. Not exactly crafty but I flipped through this book today at a bookstore and it is so kitschy and funny. It's photos and descriptions of 50 years of Ronco products.

But Wait! There's More!: The Irresistible Appeal and Speil of Ronco and Popeil

If you think you don't know what Ronco products are -- just think of the last info-mercial you saw!

It's funny too because at a thrift store recently I saw a silly Ronco product from the 60's (?) called The Buttoneer which I almost bought for a laugh:

It allows you to put on buttons without sewing using this tool and these little plastic things that remind me of what stores use to attach tags to clothing.

Man, I thought I was just a sucker for the info-mercials and now they're getting me at thrift stores too...

My dad used his trusty Buttoneer all the time. I bet he still has it and uses it.
