This thread is AMAZING!! You guys are some seriously talented photographers. I'm working on my skills little by little and eventually, I'd like to do weddings. So any pointers from you all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. I'm also now faving this thread.

I'd book you for mine!

I've not posted in this thread for a while. Loved looking at everyones work. Here a few of my most recent shots. I'm not too good at making these things short, but I'll write a little about each one.

This is the frontman of a band called Pulled Apart By Horses. I wanted to photograph them as I knew they were pretty mad live, I wasn't dissapointed. It was mental!

This is Arthurs Seat, Edinburgh, at dawn. The white balance is twiddled slightly...the sky wasn't quite that amazing.

Sam, from a band called Twin Atlantic. The band did a performance/signing in a Glasgow record shop, but not everyone could fit in the tiny shop. So he went outside to perform a song to those that couldn't squeze in.

Frontman of a band called The Living End

Ok...last one...

I have loooooads more on my flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterphotography)

Hi all!
I'm really glad there's a photography thread here, I've been looking through all of your photos and they're incredible!

I'd like to share some of mine with you Smiley

Combining my digital art with my photography

Ok, I'll stop here because like many others here, I have tons of photos! There's plenty more on my Flickr page Smiley

I feel kind of amateur with my sub par, point and shoot pics but oh well, still like them. Taken at High Park in Toronto, Ontario.

They look fab! You've got a great eye for composition. Smiley

(Have you tried playing around with the white balance settings? That's an easy way to move up a bit from point & shoot. (and all I know how to do Tongue hehe))

P.S.  You have a buffalo in your park?? Awe.some.

Hey thanks, really appreciate that! I will have to take a fiddle diddle with the white balance.

And ya..there are peacocks and other random things too.. http://www.highparktoronto.com/zoo.php  It's the strangest place..it's big enough that you don't even feel like you're in Toronto anymore..until you get to the bottom and see skyscrapers....fail..
