I have one completed costume & one to go!

My son is going to be Anakin from Star Wars Episode I.  I made the entire costume & the helmet.  The goggles are welding goggles that I altered.  He isn't actually unhappy in the photos, he's just trying to look serious.  Wink

Costume consists of: tunic, pants, 2 belts, arm & leg wraps, spatz, hood, goggles & helmet.

My daughter is going to be Rogue from the beginning of X3.  I haven't quite finished her costume yet, though!

Anakin Costume Thread

Eek. Oh my. That is one amazing Anakin costume. I love X-Men, I can't wait to see the Rouge costume. I was thinking of being Storm for Halloween, but I ended up making a space-ranger costume.

Thanks everyone!  My son is really thrilled with his costume.  I want to mention again that I have a thread for the Anakin costume, just so we don't overwhelm the Halloween scrapbook  Wink

I'll add the Rogue costume to my first post as soon as it's done... hopefully this weekend!   See more of my costumes here!

I've made my costume!  This is the first garment, much less, costume I have ever made.  I traced lines from a previous dress to make the pattern.  The stitching is off and it's a looooong way from perfect but overall, I'm pretty happy with it!

Thats pretty good for your first try at garments. It look very adorable. I especially like the skirt.

I'm in the process of making my sexy warrior outfit so I'll post that when the time comes about.

Happy Halloween ya'll,

I made a Shower Costume all from shower supplies (mostly).

Here's the link to my post if you want to see a few more pics and read more about this!:

Inspired by Project Runway, of course.

aiight so i just finished my costume last night after slaving away for hours.. bought a grey sack-ish dress from value village, tailored it a bit, then added my buttons.. screen.. and you have, a calculator dress. I really wanted something fun, unique, and easy to wear.. this baby'll be perfect for navigating parties, bars, etc.  i might hem it a bit cause the length seems a little awkward. oh and another thing, the screen says 5318008 which on a calculator reads "boobies" when you turn it upside down. had to do it... throwback to grade 6 hah
