So, I think boy undies are cute, and I want to make myself some. And I don't mean boy-cut. I want something to this effect:
(sorry it's kinda small, but you get the idea)

Would it be best to embellish a pair I already have with ribbon, etc. or is there some sort of pattern I could use...?

hmm, this is funny that i see this today. i was hanging my wee guys underpants on the laundry line today and thinking that i'd like to make a pair. then i remembered that i have a pattern for long leg underpants. it's a kwik sew pattern sorry i can't remember the # right now but it's a woman's pattern and comes with a large t-shirt and tank top. look through their site. www.kwiksew.com. i don't think it would be too hard to cut the legs off for the look you want.
i hope this helped.
