One little handy dandy book I found which is a great DIY zine resource was "Stolen Sharpie Revolution." It talks about everything from layout to how to make paper to silkscreening to distributing your zine and lists a bunch of distros at the end.

I got my copy at a craft sale, but I'm sure you can order if from Microcosm Publishing, a terriffic distro based in Portland. Just do a quick google on them. Good luck!

I'm with Sohereiam- get yourself a copy of Stolen Sharpie Revolution.  It's a great resource and it has a whole section about how and where you can get some distribution.  I know you can order S.S.R. from cutxpaste.com as well!

Plus, if you live in a boring suburb, you can spearhead a whole zine scene there and make it less boring.  Good luck!
