I've noticed masks and gags popping up in fashion shoots and record covers a lot recently, and I'm getting a little obsessed. Masks can mean many things!

This one is cuddly cotton, and mostly meant for warmth and ninja style. But I immediately wanted to make one in lace, as more of a seductive veil, and another more political version (censorship, spying and secrecy, oh my!).

Free pattern on my website. The straps sit behind your ears (like glasses, kind of), so it doesn't interfere with your hair. And did I mention it is cozy? It is really cozy, and makes kissing *hilarious*.

thankyouthankyouthankyou!  I'm attempting to cosplay as Kakashi from Naruto for Halloween, and trying to figure out what to do for the mask has been driving me CRAZY!  I was trying to do some weird cowl thing that I kept having to tug at to keep up, but this is freaking AWESOME!

That looks exactly like what I am looking for for this winter.
I have asthma and breathing the cold air really hurts my lungs - this would be perfect and small enough to keep in my pocket to have handy.

thanks for sharing! now if i can just figure out how to convert that to crocheting since I can't knit....

I have a gorgeous granddaughter Smiley

Imagine all the possibilities for costumes! Ninjas, Michael Jackson, doctors, wild west bank robbers.....singing ninja doctors?

Thanks for the pattern! This is an awesome idea.  Cheesy

Oh my god, I need to knit this. I would wear it as often as possible, especially in class. Oh. My. God. Love.
