Are there any particular crafts you like to do when in intense moods?

My mother likes to do mosaics, cause then she can smash the tiles.. I stay away when she is mosaicing..  Smiley

I personally like to scrapbook when iam feeling especially creative as i know iam stuck with the creativeness of the day in my albums.

if my head is full of lots of ideas I like to draw out my designs.. even though I can not draw for quids it gives me a visual and the drawing calms me down.

With running a craft website I am always having to make new crafts and soemtimes my heart is not in it at all..

I dont like being treated like a performing monkey who can come up with a creative idea just like that.

Sometimes at gatherings someone will say... "oh shellie will know what to do with it".... Or iam handed the rubbish on the table and told to "create something"...

sigh.. sometimes I am just not that creative...   Grin

I like to rip pictures out of magazines when I'm frustrated... it takes my mind off of things, and I have the supplies for a good collage later.

I like to embroider when I'm stressed out.  The repetitive motion, the requirement to sit relatively still, and the need to pay close attention really relaxes me.

I was in Connecticut for five days last week for a funeral and it was nice to loose myself in my embroidery. I finished three projects and almost finished a fourth! It also gave people something to talk about besides the obvious funeral discussions. Talking about my embroidery provided a nice diversion for a lot of people!
