I made these today. I made some beginners mistakes but I won't point them out!

I've entered the wallet into the wallet challenge

Thanks, I do too! I had some problems with the handle but it all worked out in the end.

It's impossible to tell that you had any problems by looking at the bag...it looks very professional and perfect, I must say! ^_^
Now I am just dying to have a bag in that shape, haha. ^^;

I, too, so so so LOVE this bag--the shape, the flowers, the handle, all of it!! This is sooo cute!! Cheesy  The wallet is great also.  I've been working on a hobo lately, hopefully will list it soon, but I know what you mean about those "tricky" handles/straps! Ugh! Sad  Really great job on the bag and wallet!! Grin

Very cute bag!  I'm going to tell you what everyone told me about a bag that I said had mistakes -- You are your own worst critic.

I think your bag looks great and I would love to have something like that to carry.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

ScisSis, that is so true.  I've been bringing in a new bag almost every other day for a couple weeks, we have a company craft fair and November and I'm making bags....but so many of them have what I consider to be big enough flaws to make them not sell-able (just use-able--by me!) and everyone tells me I'm crazy, that they look great (Can't they see that GLARING PUCKER right there in the lining?? LOL)

Fantastic bag.  Did you use a pattern, tute, or just eyeball it and make it they way you wanted?   (I'm generally an eye-baller myself!)

Yes, I just eyeballed it. I always like to do things that way - its more fun.
