check  it out!!
I got this one two weeks ago
the photo was taken right after it was done, so it's all red and swelly.
in case you can't see, it's the word  MAKE stitched into my skin, with the needle and thread at the end
it's on my left arm, right beneath the elbow.

Claratron love the different birds. I want to be covered in birds too! Hummingbirds are on the priority list... all the work here is just awesome!

I "Wist" you'd stalk me...

If you're gonna dine with them cannibals, well sooner or later darling you're going to get eaten.

Cute "Make!" Although I do have to admit, the M is in shadow a bit, so I thought for a minute it might say Naked... haha. The crafty tats are my favourites!

Thanks, Pink Zebra and K-Roc! K-Roc, you should totally do the covered-in-birds thing. Pretty, resourceful creatures with wings just aren't something you can regret Smiley

My favorite is my fox in the snow, its based on my favorite song by the band Belle and Sebastian which is one of my favorite bands. I got the Owl tattoo on my birthday this year and i just love the coloring of the tree bark. Enjoy! Everyones Ive seen so far are amazing!

i need a better pic of that oh well I will wait until its healed.

These are all so beautiful! Especially the "make" one, that's just awesome.

I do have a question, though. I'm working on a design for my first (and probably only) tatoo, and I want it all one color. I was thinking of doing a pale-ish brown (I'm very white) so it wouldn't stand out quite as much (though I'm super white so it'll still be pretty obvious), but I was told that I should do a dark color so if I change my mind one day I can get it removed. Supposedly dark colors respond better to the laser...? Anyone have any suggestions on this?

I have two tattoos and I love them both!
This is the first one:

And to save you all from asking the inevitable 'cool... but what is it??' I will just explain it! It was a totally spur of the moment type thing, and me and the tattooist sat down for a few hours planning it out together, I told him I wanted a spider and he knew me and thought a spider was too boring and 'normal' for me, so he suggested making it into a kind of woman/spider a REAL black widow! This is what we came up with, though sometimes Im not entirely sure I like the web, usually thats all you can see and it looks kind of weird!

Number two:

I had this planned for ages (I found the picture in a book of fairys my MUM had when she was a kid!) and thought it would be an awesome tattoo. I really like the placing of it on my ankle, but I didnt really like having to walk around for the next few days!

i am sorry for being a bad, rude swapper. i am sorry to all the partners i flaked on, and all the feelings i hurt. i feel really guilty, my life is messed up right now and i got greedy and selfish. i didnt think about anything but getting nice things. i am so sorry everyone. i'll be leaving now.

Hey all Smiley

Just got mine yesterday. My sister and I wanted matching tattoos in honour of our family and to inspire us to get throught the hard times. My family has had to deal with a whole lot of badness over the last few years. (To sum up: Cancer x 7, Death x 3, House Fire, broken bones, broken hearts) So, we each got our family clan motto of "Sans Peur" or "Without Fear" in Gaelic (Gan Eagla), just below the nape.

We wanted something feminine, but not too girly. We wanted something with presence. Something that was strong, but not cartoony.

Here's what we got:

I'm the one on the right.
