I received from tristitia!

She sent very awesome stuff and she said there'll be more coming later! She sent:
- 4 yarns (hells yeah)
- directions to crochet 5 different types of bags (already have my eye on one of them)
- goldfish crackers (which i'm munching on as i type)
- milk chocolate milanos!!
- hot cocoa mix and hot spiced apple cider mix << i LOVE this stuff, how did you know?  Grin
- and a giant pink bath fizzle with flowers in it (only problem is that there's no tub in my apartment!  Tongue )
Here's a pic of all the stuff:

Here's a closeup of the super soft yarn which I love by the way. Is the color so pretty? Very autumn-y and pumpkin-y. Definately making something for myself with this yarn.

Tristitia, thank you so much for the care package. I really feel loved! It was ironic how I opened my mailbox and there was nothing there but when I went to my apartment.. there it was! (turns out my roommate already brought it up). If you want, you can make the neckwarmer out of yarn similar to the fuzzy orange one, it doesn't need to be handspun. I like the texture a lot. Thanks again!

"just keep crafting, just keep crafting"

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Just because I was so geeked about what I sent to supersleeves...MORE PHOTOS!

The stitch markers were one of my absolute favorite things I made, mostly because they were so tiny.

I was totally delirious when I finally finished all the embroidery on this pincushion.

...and for those who don't really recognize the image:

Tis a Radiohead logo.

The tag on the wallet/change purse reads: "She blinded you with science? Why weren't you wearing your safety glasses??". It made me giggle when I wrote it out. (By the way, supersleeves is a chem major)

Well, I won't waste any more valuable space showin' off! I can't wait to see all the other stuff everyone else has received! Wink

haha, that's so true for me too.  whenever i find something i want reeeeeeally bad, and know is totally craftable, i talk to my mom first.  because there is always a chance that she just might make it for me! Wink

Man, I am so glad I was pointed to this swap and got to adopt...

The packages are wonderful, thoughtful and it is nice to know that many of you are still going to try to craft while studying, partying, working, cleaning, dating, etc. etc....such energy!

(I also came to take notes on items to send to my college student--like lots of snacks!!)
