I frequently check this board out, and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of action in the Pittsburgh area. I wonder why that is? The last Pgh post looks like it was submitted in March- are there less Pgh crafters than Philly crafters here on Craftster?

2/18/12 - I no longer have the directions for wrapped pens, I lost them several years ago. To obtain them for yourself, do like I did, contact DMC threads directly and ask for them.

My parents live in Greensburg. I have since moved to Hagerstown MD and now to Waynesboro PA.  I looove and miss the Pgh area.

Yeah... Pgh = Pittsburgh

I know that there is a Knitting thing at the Waterfront Barnes and Noble. Is there anything else?

I'm from Pittsburgh, and the only thing that I know is going on is the Zine Tour in Mr. Roboto's Project on October 30th.

Hi, there! This is my first ever post on this board and I am in the Altoona area! Cheesy

Not sure what to write...in defense of not being crafty, I am. Anyway, I would like to get together with people in the area and share ideas and whatever.

Currently: am making finger puppets out of felt for my 2 year-old and 1 year old (approx.), making art and selling on Ebay, dolls...that keep getting beat up before I finish them and hoping I'll start the mini-quilts I want to give as X-mas gifts (this seems like a far off dream for some reason, oh well).

Hope to meet a few of you on-line, if we're too far to meet in person. But it would be cool to chat with a few who are in-state!

Peace!
Em

There's knitting at Quietstorm and a brand new small group at the beehive. Smiley
