I'm sure there was a thread for this ages ago, but it took me so long to finish I'm making a new one. I nearly completed this thing a couple of months ago, but then I ran out of yarn with 8 stitches left to cast off!! >__<;; I finally ripped out the cast off and did it again a little tighter, and it was done! Huzzah!

it's lamb's pride bulky - exactly what it says on the pattern, only in red.

That looks good on you!  And I'm a little jealous at how slim you are.

Ooooooooooh.....

I have been in love with cleaves for so long... I really should get off my arse and make one. They're perfect for the oncoming Texas fall - (It's waaaay too cold inside, and gets really cool at night)

Thankies muchly! I seem to be blessed with a really stable weight, it hasn't changed for almost ten years!

Well, I tried wearing them tonight - temperature was about 8 C - and my shoulders were rather cold. Then again, I've got somewhat less tolerance for cold than other people. I think the next thing I should do is make some kind of poncho or shrug.
Also, I found that the yarn is kinda itchy! AUGH! It's not intolerable, but it does make the cleaves a little less fun to wear. I think it might be the mohair in the Lamb's Pride yarn; next project I'll see what 100% sheep's wool might do to me.

Very pretty.  Do you find that it slips down alot?  I want to make something similar, but slipping would annoy me.
