I bought a plain old knee-length blue skirt at Value Village AGES ago, and AGES ago I did a little work on it. I'm finally getting around to posting now because I'm feeling productive.

Basically, I cut some slits in the sides and hemmed 'em up nicely, trimmed it with some leftover black crinky fabric I had cut from an old brromstick skirt, and painted a little design on it.

Here's a close-up on the design...

I don't wear it all that often, but I thought it turned out pretty well. I should really do more things like that... I like to paint, but really don't haev the wall space to do much on canvas any more.

looks great I love the lil design.... and who needs canvas? I am in the process of airbrushing my wall! ha ha ha  Grin
