*blinks* That's a shrinky dink?HuhHuh? Wow... I never knew  you could make that stuff look so good...

(mind you, I'm normally not at all into the skeleton looks lol. With the possible exception of pirate-y knitting things, like a skull and cross needles, stuff like that)

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Hey! today I went to my mailbox and found not one, but TWO package slips waiting for me! I received from both mint and AliBeachGrl... yay! If you guys have pictures, post away, I'll take some in a bit on my camera phone, so they won't be as good as they could be. Unfortunatly, I won't be able to post real photos until mid-october.
photos in a few!

I'll be posting pictures soon!

Alwaysinmyroom, did you make that from a sheet of shrinky-dink type material?  Where did you find such a thing?!  (I'd like to try my hand at it too!)

Another surprise waiting when I got home!  I love this swap & these swappers!  This time I got a mixed CD (Craftster Mix) & some perfect fabric.  Some purple with this great silver stripe (I'm thinking either a bag or pillow) & three Halloween prints which I'm loving.  Brought a big ole smile to my face!   Grin

I used the frosted ruff and ready--it has a rough side that you can draw on with paint, sharpies, ink, pencils, etc. The smooth side can take sharpies for a 3-d type of effect--I mean, seriously, you can get quite creative!! I followed the instructions exactly and felt like I got good results (except I am still working out how much it will shrink)

Anne--the little zipper pull is one of my, uh, mistakes, ha ha--that is why it is so tiny--I had no idea what else to do with it!!

Man, I am so happy to see the fun Halloween fabrics!!  WOW!  The black spider web fabric would be so much fun for all sorts of things!!
And, now that fall is approaching, pumpkins are perfect!!

Fall babies rock!! They get to have birthdays around the best holidays, ha ha!!

Well llenray I found a lovely package in my mailbox tonight!  From you!  With all sortsa cool stuff...

Some yummy smelling lotion & body wash, some purple rubber bands, paper clips, toothbrush, big ole sharpie (you can always use a sharpie!), some postits, & pack of paper from her school which is purple!  A couple of patches (air force? army? I'll have to check out what that one means...any hints?) & the part that really was perfect timing since it had just started raining... a purple umbrella!! Just when I was thinking on the way home that at my "adult" age I should own responsible things like umbrellas.  Its from her college, Elmira.  Very cool.

You did way too much.  I'm spoiled rotten.

Wowzah I LOVE Craftster!!!

by the way, I messed up & didn't snap any shots of the magnets before I mailed them.  Hope you like 'em anyway.

soo... I'm not sure how twilight zone it is, but the lotion, body wash and patches aren't from me  Huh Huh
haha, but I'm glad you enjoyed them regardless! they weren't in the box, were they?

hey, a girl can dream, right?

weird!  yeah they were in the box along with all the other amazing stuff.

ok yeah I'm in the twilight zone with you.

So I guess you don't know what the patch means then either?
