I can't even start until she emails me back about what her gauge is because the difference between my blocked and unblocked gauges is huge   Cry

Someone on here said that she was getting 15st and 20 rows to 4 inches square.

Or you could swatch and do some measurements yourself. If the difference is huge, knit to the blocked gauge and block it before you try it on (Stephanie Pearl-McPhee once pointed out that there's nothing stopping you from blocking stuff you're working on, if you need to).

I just started mine today, and I am excited. I ended up ripping out the two inches I had done last night because I realized that if I hold the yarn in the front when I'm slipping that first stitch, the edge looks MUCH neater.

Woo!

I'm finally on the sleeves. Still have a full ball of yarn.

I'm built like a stick, except for the 3time mom belly, and the neck is HUGE! and it hugs my belly Sad I'm not going to have this done by Easter, like I hoped though.

So yeah, LB homespun works, 4 balls will (apparently) be enough, and my guage looks like it was either spot on (the pic on the pattern looked like the neck was huge) or close. I couldn't see my stitches well enough to check guage.

I'm down to the armpits and will try to remember to take a pic soon. I'm traveling this weekend and hope that lots of time in the car will mean a finished sweater.

(If I finish it before the weekend is up, I could always WEAR it home...)

It looks great, Noodle Princess! (I love your screen name by the way, it makes me laugh - I hope that's ok. Wink )

I really did mean to post another progress picture days ago but the weather has been all cloudy and crappy. It's been sunny in the mornings, so I'll try to get one first thing tomorrow. I was just about to start the cuff on the first sleeve when I ran out of yarn. I've ordered more but it was only shipped yesterday and it'll probably take about a week. I'm really really really happy with how it's coming though, and I've ordered pretty pink buttons as well! I hope I can get a photo up tomorrow!
