I made this for my 12 year old daughter.

I totally would NOT have tried it if it weren't for craftychick's awesome star scarf.  I found it while searching for a star chart and decided to give double-knitting a shot.  It wasn't as hard as it seemed.  Then after seeing some skull charts, I figured they'd be great for double-knitting.    Grin

That is great - you did a fantastic job.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking the skull chart I have that I made a crocheted tote from would make a good pattern for a double knit scarf too - you beat me too it.

I'm still working on the star scarf, in and amongst myother on the go projects.

Definitely the coolest scarf any 12 year old has ever owned!

(If my 20-something-year-old son saw it, he'd want one, too!)

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*
