I never thought of making a pin!  I'm going to have to do that and wear it everywhere.  I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard.  One of my life goals was to visit Australia and try to meet him.  Cry  He was absolutely amazing and helped so many animals. *cry*

Steve was a modern-day GreenMan. Friend of all of the animals, lover of life.

My husband was with his buddies and text messaged me at 3 a.m. to tell me. When I woke up later that morning, I thought it was a dream until I checked my text inbox. I always thought he was a little annoying, but never would have wanted this to happen. Especially since he has 2 young kids.
Cute pins, and a good tribute.

However, I think the word you wanted was "memoriam" because "memorandum" is basically the long form of "memo."

It's so sad  Cry I didn't believe it right away but then, after thinking about it for awhile and seeing the news in some newspapers, I realized it's reality.  Sad I hope his wife and kids are doing alright.

An amazing way to honor him. My parents couldn't believe it when I told them. It was good that if he had to go, he went that way. Better doing something he loved.

Cry our family was so sad too! i think it's weird how people latch on to TV personalities... but he DEF. had a personality that transcended TV boundries. He just seemed like a genuinely good guy who REALLY really love his job abd loved life. it's a shame he died so young.

anyways, about the pins. they are a lovely tribute to him. croc pins to make a croc hunter proud.

This is so sweet! especially the sentiment behind it... Im sure his family would appreciate it.

I am an Australian, and I feel slightly un-Australian because of this.... I am very upset by it, but more so in empathy for his children and wife. I admire, and appriciate you wearing this. Im sure his family would be touched, and he would be proud!

on another, slightly smaller and not really consequential not.... Its a small pet peeve of mine, It is actually Irwin, not Erwin.... (I hope I didnt sound like a bitch then.... *blush*)

How can we possibly become a strong person, if we have an easy life? The tougher it is, the tougher we have a chance to become if we choose to fight back. Tough times never last but tough people do. - Rick Gettle.

No prob. Sorry for the mis-spell. Was it spelled correctly on the NY Times? I may have copied it wrong. But thanks for the correction, really.
