not really a purse but not sure where else to put it...and it's constructed a lot like a purse.
anyway, I am burning a bunch of bootleg CDs for a friend and made this little CD case as a surprise to send with them. There's a cd next to it to show the size

it's black denim and  he loves Bacardi so that's the bacardi bat on the front, I used the inkjet transfers for dark fabrics and found the logo online. It had silver pyramid studs in the 4 corners and on the loop handle thingie. (which you can't see too well in the pics unfortunately)
There's a zipper that wraps around 3 sides, so it can open like a book

there is the inside, it's lined with a black and silver pinstripe. I don't usually make stuff for men so I tried to keep the decoration plainer than  most of my bags but I think it's pretty cute.

oh yeah and it's padded with some fusible fleece between the demin and the lining, to give it more body and protect the CDs.

That's awesome! Was the zipper hard to sew in when it's curved like that?

No because I sewed it to a straight piece of fabric, the zipper is in a placket (a long strip of fabric on each side). I used a placket because i wanted the case to be thicker than the width of the zipper. I made the straight placket first and then sewed that into the  cover. And there's really no curve, just 2 right angle corners.
