Hi fellow felters

I've received an exciting proposal from Terry at Lark books.
A new needle-felting project book is underway at Lark books, and I've been invited to apply for inclusion.

Here's the first part of what I was sent by Terry

Thanks to everyone for responding to my call for designers for our new book on Needle Felting. This book is to showcase at least 20 projects, exposing general crafters, knitters, and others to the wonderful things one can do with needle felting. Embellishment! Dimensional forms! You name it.
Heres an outline of our working process here at Lark Books
1. Project Proposals
All designers are asked to submit proposals of pieces they would
like to create for the book. The proposals must include:
a sketch or photo of similar work you propose to create
an actual sample (or photos) of the fibers, colors, and materials to be
used in the proposed work
photos of articles of clothing to be embellished, etc.

This post has a two-fold purpose.
-Firstly, any suggestions of projects I should write a tutorial for?

-Secondly, there are so many fab felters here that also might like to participate in this project.
I was going to PM a few of you craftsters with this info, but then I thought I'd just open it up to you all  Smiley
So if anyone's interested in also applying, I can send them the rest of the details.

oooooh thanks for sharing! Cheesy
since you normally wet felt most of your pieces, i dunno what to suggest for a nf project, maybe a vine necklace? I'll ponder it for a while and get back to ya.
do the submissions need to be fairly easy? i wouldnt mind submitting my lollipop hairclips, but those are so simple, just like 3 steps, dunno if they would bother to put it in! lol.

yes but consider that they'll be more than likely marketing this toward beginners (??) so the hairclips could be a perfect beginner type of project. right?Huh? and a great spin off to more complicated designs, etc.

and where is Grace?? She should be all over this bad-ass baby.  Grin Cheesy Grace where are you??
I dream of being in a book someday- or having my own book, or drawing for a book...or something pertaining to a book. me likey books.
Jane and Bird- GO FOR IT!! I wanna see you gals in the forefront of this kick-ass medium.. get in that book!!!!  Smiley Kiss
