I made my second corduroy bag! The first one I made kinda sucked, I had no interfacing and it was super floppy. This time, I went to Joanns and spotted this fabric on sale. So by the next day, I had this one sewn up!

I was surprised at how easy it is to add pockets, and I am pretty pleased with my efforts. It took me about.. 5-6 hours. I spent an hour or two designing my plan and cutting fabric the night before, then the next day I sewed and sewed. Is that really slow? How often do you guys usually make things?

I actually gasped when the picture first came into view!!!!!!!!!
I love it, love it, love it!!! Grin  Especially the pockets under the flap and that contrasting fabric!!!
It takes me a while to make a bag when I first do it.  But by the time I've made it several times, I get faster at it, being able to do it "by heart."  It does take anywhere from 2 - 4 hours, depending on the amount of steps there are -- pockets, flaps, outer pockets, etc.
But anyway...this bag is just gorgeous!! Great job! Grin

Thank you! =D

I'm pretty happy. It was good practice for the bag I have to make for my girlfriend in a few weeks.
