All of these purses look great! Unfortunately, it looks like I have been flaked on, so it will be awhile before I post mine...but so far, everything looks wonderful!

i've had quite a few people offer! thanks to everyone!

i'm going to compare everyone who offered to virginiawoolf's questionnaire, so that i can match the angel up as closely as possible.

i'm off to another dr's appointment, but i'm going to try to do that tonight. then i'll let everyone know who the angel will be.

check out my crafty blog!

Here is the bag I sent to kiwimonkey. I had fun doing it, and, as usual when I'm sewing, learned a whole lot!

Here's the bag:

The body of it is knit, the handle is made from something you would use to make a curtain tie-back (with little bits of the lining fabric over them to cover the place where they're joined to themselves), and the button closure is made from a hair elastic.

Here's a close up of the bag, to show some of the stitch detail more clearly.

Here's a shot of the lining. It's  more silver in person. I had envisioned something much different, but the silver on silver part of the fabric reminded me of the cables on the bag.

I know I'm not a member of this swap, but I can be a swap angel if needed.

there's my yummy bag!!
It's not at all what I'd imagined when I first asked for a knit bag, but i LOVE it!!!!! It's SOOO much better than what I'd envisioned!!
Michelle did a WONDERFUL job!

I didn't get my stuff in it last night, but I'm doing that right now. I can't wait to show it off tomorrow!! Cheesy
I never would've thought to use a hair elastic or that that was even a hair elastic!!
The silver lining is great! I definitely noticed that coordination with the outside cables.

Thank you so much Michelle I really enjoyed swapping with you!!!

I ♥ swaps!

mdsvc89, that bag you made is FANTASTIC!!!!!  droool....... Smiley

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
