I bought two skeins of Noro. I know it's expensive, but I just couldn't help myself. I always buy cheap yarns to play with, so I thought I should go with something really fancy for once... The colors are so beautiful, and the yarn is so thick, it's just delicious! I could eat it up. But instead, I made a bag... A very simple bag, because the yarn is so pretty it stands for itself.

Hope you like it!

I am also a sucker for Noro. I keep buying a skein or 2 and then say to myself no more, but almost every time I go to the store I have to get some.  Love the purse and you are right let the yarn do the talking

Ive never used noro, sadly... I don't buy myself expensive yarns. *IF* I buy an expensive yarn, its always a project for someone else! Maybe one of my friends will take pity on me and send me some noro for my birthday Cheesy (haha Im really hoping one of them sees this post)

I love the color of your bag. Are those handles real wood? The pompom is such a cute touch! I usually cant stand pompoms, but this has almost a simple, eclectic elegance to it!

I'm no longer a moderator, but I will always love June 2005 - October 2008

Yes, those are real wood. I bought them online.

I like pompons, but I agree that you have to be careful to use them. But since I had some yarn left, and since it is an expensive yarn, I wanted to use it all!

Thank you all!

I use my bag today for the first time (just finished the lining yesterday) and a lady in the subway asked me where did I buy it because it was so pretty! I told her "well, I made this" and it felt SO GOOD!  Wink
