I made tis purse for my boyfriends niece....I crocheted (is that the proper way to spell that??) from Brown SHeet wool....It is only semi felted as I only have access to a laundry mat washer, so I had to take a gamble with it....I think it's cute enought for a little girl.

Thanks everyone!
It didn't take long to make at all...Maybe just the better part of a rainy weekend. It is just one long chain crocheted in a round...after it was about 2 inches wide, I worked the back loop and than continued up.

Felting is a way to "process" wool to make it fuzzy (for a lack of a better term). This thread might give you some for info:

I say "semi-felted" because it was not done properly or all the way.
Hope this helps!

I love the colors!! Too many ideas and projects to do, hands are going to fall off.  Okay, so I was just wondering does the yarn you're using need to be a 100% Wool or just mostly wool? Will you post a pic when it's all the way felted? Cheesy
