This is awesome! and don't knock yourself, it totally looks like Jen.

I love Dark Crystal!

Also, a question -- how did you manage the ball joints on the doll? I looked through Diane's site (which is amazing, by the way!) and didn't find any information. Thanks!

a moment of silence, please, for those who never had the chance, they show up to a partybut they're never asked to dance, the losers, the liars, the bastards, the theives, the cynicists, the pessimists, and those who don't believe in nothing...

I don't think you're a terrible sculptor at all! When I first saw this I thought it was wood, but even if it isn't the effect is still there. I love how this entire character feels like he is a from a woodblock print. He feels like he is right out of Dark Crystal. You are very talented and I hope you show us more of your awesome work!

I am just venturing into the cloth doll area of crafting and I will have to keep this character in mind for when my skills are a little more advanced, as I think he fits the fantasy genre, that I prefer to work with, perfectly.

wow, thats awesome, i've never seen a posable polymer clay doll before. BTW; is the dark crystal part of the Labryinth trilogy, with the creepy goblins and stuff?

When the night has been to lonely, and the road has been to long, and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong, just remember, in the winter, beneath the bitter snows, lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring, becomes the rose. <3

Nice doll!
It could be their son or something, you never know. XD

I LOVED that movie.

Maybe I should try doing this with cloth........

And you are so much better at sculpting then you think. I couldn't even do that much very well!
