So, I've been carrying around my Amy Butler Nappy Sack as a diaper bag for a few months. I always get comments on it. The fabric is a super deal I found on the Wal-Mart $1 table and I bought the entire bolt. (10 YARDS!)

My MIL is a teacher's aid and she is convinced this would be the ultimate bag for her. She asked me if she could borrow my pattern for the bag so she'd have a new bag for school on Thursday. I told her I'd send it with my husband when he drops off my son (she was our babysitter this summer). As a "thank you for tending my kid for free" gift, I just made her the bag last night. Won't she be surprised when Mike shows up with a completed bag rather than the pattern.

My dingy old bag:

I just hope she likes the fabric and hope it isn't too juvenile. I love this pattern. I have a feeling of accomplishment every time I do it because it is so easy. It always takes less than 2 hours and I feel like I am so advanced. haha! The simple pleasures in life!

Yeah! That looks great. I love that bag. I actually bought the pattern online at Ebay and still haven't touched it yet. I need to make two soon. My sister in-law is pregnant and just needed to know what colors. Again, great job. I love both.

I love it. It carries everything. Of all the diaper bags I've made/bought this one has been the best. Your sister would love you for it!
