Very nice! I bought a little sewing machine recently - er, um...it's actually been about 4 months - thinking I'd do the same thing. So many ideas, so little time.

Those are too cool! I'd love to learn how to do that.  I love the buttons on there, it really adds to it.

Your cards are so cute! I tried to sew fabric onto a card from a deck of cards and my sewing machiene wouldn't do it! How do you get yours to? Do you need a special brand/type? ..You've done such a wonderful job it makes me want to try my hand at it again!

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

I have a Walmarty Singer sewing machine, it is nothing special, that's for sure.  I have a needle that I use just for sewing on paper/cards because the needle tends to get dull quickly when you are sewing paper.

Other than that, no secret tricks.

I haven't quite perfected them yet.  The fabric does tend to bubble a bit, but practice makes perfect (or at least acceptable Smiley ).

i was thinking of doing something similar to this, i just can't seem to get my machine to cooperate... i have a walmarty singer or brother or something. the sting kept ripping.

i think i got that figured out now though, and i'm going to try again. lol.

nice cards... sorry, i got a little off subject there. i think i'd LOVE getting one of those in the mail. oh how i miss the snail mail.
