About a month ago I went crazy in the clearance shelves at Joann fabrics. I got a bunch of suiting tweeds and silky fabrics for linings. This is the fist bag I made from that assortment. (more to come!)

outside fabric: wool tweed with mostly browns and tans but also some pink and olive green
lining: silky hot pink jaquard
trim: wide striped grosgrain ribbon
rattan "bracelet" handle, these were just on sale at Joann last week
inside zipper pocket which you can't see

I love them too, it is much less work than making handles but they do charge a lot for them, sometimes like 7  dollars for the larger ones. I was lucky they were having a sale and I picked up a few different styles of handles for $4.00.
