I made this folksy wall hanging for my aunt and uncle.  The buttons came from my grandmother's collection.  She has loads of them - some 50 years old!

It measures about 12" square.  The quilting, piecing and applique are all done by machine.

I love that!  I have been looking for some simple christmas quilt ideas-I like how it is not too fussy-and using grandma's buttons makes even better!

That's really nice!  I suck at quilting.. takes too much patience and precision for me.  It's funny how I can cross stitch on linen but can't get anything straight with quilting.
