Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

I recently finished the Snowflakes & Arrows Vest by Rowena Lohman.
This was my first Fair Isle and Steek experience and it was
easy and fun. The pattern is from Knit Picks.
This is the size small and I used Knit Picks
Palette yarn and their Classic Circulars.

That looks fantastic! I thought this was so beautiful when I saw it in the knitpicks catalog. I'm sure it took a long time, but it is so worth it. It's the kind of vest you will use forever. Congrats on completing such a gorgeous project. Smiley

That is absolutely beautiful: pretty colours, gorgeous pattern and you knit it so beautifully! I can't beleive that was your first fair isle.  My first fair isle was a hat that was supposed to fit an adult and ended up going to my 3-yr old nephew, the stranding was so tight.  Tongue
