I am participating in my first craft fair in October and since i have only sold my purses over the internet via my web site and Ebay, i have never had to worry about diplaying them in a group. The obvious solution would be to sit them all on a table so people can just browse but since the handles make an empty purse top-heavy that won't really work because they'll just flop over. Any suggestions?

Stuff them with tissue paper so they will stand up on their own.  If it's a windy day, though, they might still flop over.

I also string up a clothesline and pin them to that, so the purses are hanging up at eye level.  That will also help to attract people over to your booth, if you hang a couple out front.
